Plaid Generator × Textile Swatch Book
Jul 29, 2026 · 30min
My Interpretation
I wanted the tool to feel like browsing a modern textile sample book rather than using a conventional design dashboard. The muted paper interface keeps the pattern in focus, while curated palettes, custom colors, weave controls, and several export sizes make each plaid useful beyond the screen.

AI Recipe
Build a responsive plaid-pattern studio that feels like a modern textile swatch book. Let people choose curated palettes, edit individual colors, shuffle combinations, adjust pattern scale, stripe width, fabric texture, and finish, then export the result as a PNG.
Generate seamless plaid on canvas using layered horizontal and vertical bands with multiply blending. Add optional woven grain and subtle color variation so the result feels like fabric while remaining crisp enough for high-resolution exports.
